What People Are Saying:

Until now, no training program for yoga teachers adequately addressed the underserved needs of those in pain as experienced daily or while in a yoga class. This is a first of its kind offering that combines pain science with yogic principles and compassionate practices to give yoga teachers the confidence to help their students with pain move from fear and fragility to fearlessness!

Kristina Knight

Pain Care Aware Foundations provides a thorough foundational understanding of pain from a neurobiological perspective, as well as information and perspectives on pain from the yoga sutras. It marries the information from both standpoints in a seamless fashion. The course provides practical tips that will give the yoga teacher/therapist and health professional the confidence to create a safe, compassionate and empowering class atmosphere for students with pain. After doing this course, I am confident that I understand pain and that I can create a safe, compassionate and empowering class atmosphere for students with pain. NOW, I am equipped to be Pain Care Aware with students.
