Two Daily Practices with Lisa & Neil

DAY 1

Introduction and Welcome:

Joining together in community we welcome all in our ritual of sacred space, setting the tone and vibration for connection and love.

DAY 2

Calm: 

We focus on PCA techniques to calm the nervous systems. Today we practice methods of Kriya Yoga for pain care. 

DAY 3

Respite:

Using yoga meditation, mantra, yantra and mudra, along with restorative asana practices, we will take a break from the effort of living with pain.

DAY 4

Challenge:

We practice safe and effective PCA techniques to challenge our pain sensitivities, reset our alarm systems, and change our fear responses.

DAY 5

Planning:

We'll share how plans help to change pain, practice methods of accessing your inner knowing, and guide you in creating a successful pain care plan. 

DAILY MORNING SADHANA

Daily Nurturing:

Sadhana means "spiritual practice' and at its essence it is a daily ritual practice which takes us closer to our wholeness. 

 

 

Lisa Pearson has been a yoga teacher, E-RYT500 and yoga therapist, C-IAYT, for nearly three decades. After completing Yoga Seminary In 2009 Lisa was ordained Swami Swarupananda, in the Kriya Yoga lineage by Sri Goswami Kriyananda. Swami Lisa offers personal guidance and mentorships in Kriya Yoga.

Neil Pearson is a physiotherapist, yoga therapist (C-IAYT), experienced yoga teacher E-RYT500, and Clinical Assistant Professor at University of British Columbia (since 1998). He is faculty for three C-IAYT yoga therapist training programs - Inner Peace Yoga Therapy, Yoga Therapy International, and The School of Embodied Yoga Therapy.
